You can order sample invitations through our website. Individual sample day invitations can be purchased for the promotional price of £2.50 inc. p&p.
Sample packs can be purchased for the promotional price of £6.00 inc. p&p. Sample packs contain 1 day invitation, 1 evening invitation, 1 reply card and 1 place name.
You can order your sample stationery with a click of a few buttons here at our website or if you prefer, give us a call and place your order over the telephone. Payment can be made using the online Paypal facility or by posting details of the samples required along with a cheque made payable to Wedding Invitation Boutique to 24 Aberdeen Crescent, Edgeley, Stockport, SK3 9EJ. The cost of your sample stationery will be deducted from the final invoice should you place a full order. (Up to a maximum of £6.00).
How far in advance do I need to order my wedding stationery?
On average Wedding Invitation Boutique requires 4 weeks to complete your stationery order once your proofs have been approved. It all depends on the size of your order and how many orders we have to complete at the time. Orders are accepted on a first come first served basis so please book early to avoid disappointment. If you require your stationery sooner please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
When should I send out my invitations?
It is now very common to send out wedding invitation up to three months in advance of the wedding date or even earlier if your wedding is being held abroad or during a busy bank holiday weekend. Sending your wedding invitations well in advance of your wedding date gives guests ample time to book time off work and make travel arrangements and it gives you plenty of time to receive your replies and plan the finer details of your big day.
Can I choose my own wording & font?
Yes, you can choose whatever wording and font you like, but to help you decide, we will send you a wording and font example sheet in your order pack.
Can I customise the designs to coordinate with my wedding theme/colours?
Yes, all of our designs are handmade so we can change even the smallest of details to meet your individual requirements. If you would like your invitations in a different colour, size or with different wording please advise us when you place your order.
In each design description we have detailed the colours each design is available in. If the colour you require is not listed please contact us and we will do our best to match colours from any swatches you provide.
I want something different! Can you help?
Of course! For a one off payment of £20 we will create a unique design especially for you. You can tell us exactly how you want your stationery to look or just share your thoughts and ideas and we will create a personal design just for you.
Will I receive a proof?
Within 7-10 days of returning your completed order pack and 50% deposit a wording proof will be sent out to you. This will be your opportunity to ensure that the wording and font are exactly as you wish them to appear. We will give you a quick phone call or drop you an email to check everything is as you require. We will not proceed with your order until we receive a verbal go ahead from you. If you would like to make any changes at this stage simply note it on the proof, sign and date it and return it to us. Any subsequent changes requested after the work has commenced will incur a reprint charge.
Is there a minimum order?
No, there is no minimum order.
Are envelopes and insert sheets included in the price?
Yes – Invitations, Orders of Service & Menu’s all come with printed inserts. Invitations, Save the Dates, Reply Cards and Thank You Cards all come with white or cream envelopes.
When should I order my Orders of Service, Menus, Table Plan etc.?
We recommend that you order all your stationery at the same time to ensure we order the correct amount of stock to meet your requirements. If you are unsure of your exact numbers at present don’t worry, you can reconfirm your numbers with us at a later date. You will be required to confirm the exact number of items you require a minimum of 6 weeks before you wedding day and you invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
Text for these items should be provided either on disc, via email or mailed to us as a typed document. Handwritten documents will not be accepted. Please write all names as you wish them to appear on the stationery i.e. Miss Abigail Moore, Miss Moore, Abby, Abby Moore etc.
Do you have a brochure?
No. In order to keep our stationery costs as low as possible we don’t produce a brochure. Pictures of all our current designs are on our website.
